Ugh now Im simply not really feeling it. Personally I believe I might be becoming just a little unwell or something like that. Right now is the type of situations where its just about all I can do to get myself out from sleeping. With a little luck most people are really experiencing a far better time today. Nonetheless I still have to get the weblog refreshed and so heres an article I uncovered about musical instruments that probably will be of some benefit.

National Pawnbrokers Association Musical Instrument Gift Day

Keller, TX (Vocus) November 10, 2010

The National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA) is sponsoring its second annual Musical Instrument Gift Day, where pawnbrokers from around the country make generous donations of musical instruments to charity organizations. This year, NPA has found a friend in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, extending their national reach to Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.

Musical Instrument Gift Day is held on December 6 in honor of St. Nicholas Day and National Pawnbrokers Day. St. Nicholas was famed for his generosity and his charity to the poor and is the Patron Saint of Pawnbrokers. In honor of that charity and generosity, Members of the National Pawnbrokers Association will be presenting their donations of musical instruments to Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide on or around December 6, 2010. To learn details about the donation drive, visit http://www.GiftDay.org.

If you are interested in participating in this year’s event, whether you’re looking to donate instruments or you’re a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, you can sign up by visiting the Gift Day website http://www.GiftDay.org and clicking “Contact.” A member of the Gift Day team will work with you to connect you with a donor or a donation recipient, depending on your needs.

Last year Musical Instrument Gift Day was a huge success, with pawnbrokers in over 17 states donating over one thousand instruments. The donation event was a huge success in South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, and even Georgia, where Governor Sonny Perdue hosted a special donation ceremony in his office attended by pawnbrokers and eager, young students in need of instruments.

This year, let’s work together to make Musical Instrument Gift Day even more successful and make an even bigger difference in children’s lives.

In today’s society, many people depend on pawnbrokers to help them meet daily financial needs not offered by other institutions. Pawn customers represent the working families of America who periodically experience an unexpected need for short-term funds. Pawn loans keep the electricity on, the rent paid and cars running with full tanks of gas.

Today’s pawn stores are attractive, welcoming places to do business. Most of them are family-owned and operated stores that offer superb customer service.Pawnbrokers comply with all federal, state and local regulations and laws. In most jurisdictions, they provide local law enforcement with data on all transactions on a daily basis.

The National Pawnbrokers Association is a trade organization for responsible pawnbrokers. The NPA works to provide pawnbrokers nationwide with resources and tools to strengthen the pawn industry. NPA members are committed to operating their business in such a manner as to enhance and promote the positive and professional image of all pawnbrokers. Members believe in establishing positive and long-lasting relationships with local, state and federal government officials. The NPA is the industry’s only national association and is located in Keller, TX.

Question by Anna Smith: Musical Instrument formed by Humans?
Hello mates!

I need create, with about 30 people, a “Musical Instrument” with our own body…
We need create a musical instrument using ourselves…

I’m thinking to create a big guitar, but it’ll be really boring to present to the jury…

Anyone has a image of some idea like mine?

Thanksz!

Hold your mouth open and slap your cheek. While slapping your cheek change the cavity of your mouth – the pitch will change.

Sit down and slap your knees – first one then the other. Also, slap a knee with a first hand and hold the other hand over the first hand so when you come up your first hand also hits the second hand. Slapping your chest makes a slapping sound with a different pitch – as does other parts of your body.

Snap your fingers. they sound like castanets.

I believe there is a way to hold your two hands together with the thumbs making a opening and blow on your thumbs to make a kind of a flute.

CRAZY-
Question: If one person puckered their lips and a second person blew across the opening – would it sound like playing a jug? It might work. That would be unique.
